Patterns in Nature
This week our Photo Challenge brings us “Patterns.” Many of my thoughts (and a good chunk of my time!) has been spent immersed in the beauty of spring and turning toward thoughts of summer. The geometry of flowers, the patterns seen in the arrangement of the leaves, the colors and spirals of the petals, all wrapped around the central stalks, stamens, and so on is a lovely way to combine this theme of the week with what has been so prominent in my mind and activity. So much beauty and yet so much order is seen in the profuse bursts of color around us.

Gorgeous photos – I especially LOVE the 2nd one!
Thank you! I absolutely love these balloon flowers and was so pleased with how this came out with the sun shining through, nearly making the petals transparent. They are so delicate- paper thin blossoms, each one lives only a day or so, but they are such a prolific riot of color that last a good three weeks mid-summer.

Beautiful photos! Love the green one!
That photo of the green plant is somehow inviting and refreshing at the same time. And that last photo? Well that just may be the biggest bunch of roses I have ever seen!
Beautiful!
The green one is amazing. And of course, any photo with the Empress has my ❤
